I have contacted the Thrustmaster helpdesk and they say it is a WIN8.1/FSX problem. The joystick re-appears after a restart of FSX but disappears again when switching between active windows In the gamecontrollersmenu of WIN8.1 the joystick is still visible and is responding. These programs become the active window when selected.Īfter switching between FSX and these applications my joystick disappears from the gamecontrollers menu in FSX and is replaced by the mouse. I fly FSX in windowed mode and I switch between FSX and these flightplanningtools with the mouse. I have two monitors connected to my desktop: one to fly FSX and another for FSX-flightplanningtools (FSC 9.5 and Navigraph).
